He folks. I have six of my Old-School Gaming Boxes (Erol Otus cover) that have a scuff or two on them (not a scratch, hole, blemish or dent - just a very light scuff or two from shifting around on the way home from Gary Con. The scuffs are very hard to see unless you turn the boxes towards the light.)
I would like to offer them at 1/2 price ($9.95 each). If you are looking for a box (with cool, Erol Otus art) or two to store or transport you gaming stuff in - you are in luck!
SOLD OUT! Thank You!

OSR Publishers at Gary Con
So here I am behind the BHP table in the dealer room (one opened up for me at the last minute) at Gary Con. Across the room from me is Dan Proctor with his Goblinoid Games table, Jon Hershberger and Allan Grohe Jr. with their Black Blade Publishing table and Jeffrey Talanian and his North Wind Adventures table.
Guess what we are talking about?

Very, very busy.
Hey folks, I am busy organizing every Delving Deeper Boxed set pre-order from the last year, so that I can email
each person to double-check and confirm each one as I prepare to put the boxes together in the coming weeks.
I am also preparing to travel to Gary Con next week. So it may be Monday before I can return most emails.
Have a great weekend!

Some orders from November 10-15 have not shipped yet
It looks like nearly every order to BHP from November 10-15 has not been showing up in paypal (Old-School Game Boxes and X-plorers Boxed Sets). I double-checked all the orders from November over a week ago and none showed up. Because folks who ordered boxes from that week are wondering why they did not get their boxes first, I have gone back and been able to find each order from that week through individual searches. However, paypal is not letting me print shipping for them (all shipping information is still there but it won't let me use the paypal, online shipping. So I am taking each one to the post office to ship them by hand today.
This is why at the beginning of March I started printing out each new product order to BHP and responding with a confirmation email within 48 hours of purchase. This puts me in direct control of fulfillment (the way it should have been to begin with) and not paypal's software (which usually works wonderfully).
Sometimes I get smarter - but not always fast enough.

Jason Vey Reviews BHP's Old-School Boxes!
Jason Vey (who also knows a thing or two about boxes) has posted a review of BHP's Old-School Game Boxes (both the Erol Otus & Pete Mullen covers).
His only complaint? "The fact that you can put so much into them."
I'll take that kind of constructive criticism. :)
You can read his review here: http://wastedlandsfantasy.blogspot.com/2012/03/brave-halfling-old-school-gaming-boxes.html

Major Delving Deeper Update!
Another month has gone by already, and for those that are following the Delving Deeper project there is much to report...
In Short:
Volumes I & II have been edited, and Volume I is being laid out again with John's new software. Editing of Volume III is underway, and there's a new piece of art afoot. Moreover, we have a plan for well being of the Delving Deeper line into the future.
In Detail:
Allow me to start by saying that John's "one last edit" has evolved into nothing short of a complete revision! But don't get me wrong, it has been a worthy endeavor. The text has grown both lean and full. Lumps and bumps have been smoothed while the whole has acquired a brevity which is (I hope) reminiscent of the original. Moreover, Delving Deeper may end up being the most SRD compliant clone yet.
Around this time a month ago I was anticipating that volume II would be relatively quick work. Was I ever wrong! Comparing every monster and magic item against what appears in the first version of Original Edition, the later editions, and the SRD proved to be painfully slow going -- but it's all but done now and I'm convinced it was worth the effort. Delving Deeper is full to the brim with OGL compliant beasties and treasures. Meanwhile, I'm well underway with editing volume III, and -- once again completely contrary to my expectation -- that's turning out to be easier rather than harder.
Originally, we were hoping to have Jesse's great layout skills for Delving Deeper, but sometimes the best laid plans just don't work out. While looking over my edits and shipping products, John has been brushing up on his layout skills with BHP's new software and developing templates. One great advantage of this is that we will be able to release Delving Deeper as a fully-bookmarked pdf, as well as in Ibook and Kindle formats too! With just a bit of luck, we will have some of the new layout samples to show very soon.
On the project art front, John has commissioned Mark to create one last piece so that this editor's likeness shall appear along with the other team members.
But perhaps the most exciting news is that we have formulated a plan for supporting the Delving Deeper line into the future. It has been agreed that I'll be taking stewardship of the Delving Deeper product line following its initial release, printing supporting materials jointly with BHP under the Immersive Ink label. I'm deeply honored to accept this privilege and looking forward to continuing work on this fantastic project. It looks like exciting times ahead for all fans of the original game!

What Can You Get in an Old-School Game Box?
Folks keep asking me just how much gaming material can you get in one of our Erol Otus or Pete Mullen Game Boxes? Most especially want to know if the new, reprints of the AD&D core rule books would all fit in a box. Oh yes, they will fit in one of these boxes! That is exactly why I made them ;)
